Stage Time - by musicians for musicians

Stage Time Support

We are in it for musicians. Gigs that pay, mentorship for young players, new venues, and jam sessions for networking.

Stage Time support up and coming musicians, community building through jam sessions and other events, and we work to help professional musicians receive fair pay.

The Jam Session

Currently our main project is a Sunday evening jam session where veteran musicians form the core of the band and we open it up to other musicians of all ages and skill levels. Jam sessions are one of the best ways for less experienced musicians gain the confidence and chops they need to get to the next level. Stage Time pays the core band a token amount at the moment, but as our funding expands this amount will grow and we'll create more events like this in the Bellingham area.

Stay tuned for what comes next!

What They Say About the Sunday Jazz Jam
"Fun to see and hear all the wonderful talent last night, Scot Ranney! There aren't many places where you can hear the veterans side by side with the new generation of players. I had that opportunity at the Moore Theatre last month, playing with David Grisman. The stage was packed with young and old and the love was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Thanks for creating a cultural breeding ground where people can see and experience cross generational creative fun in action! Your Sunday jams at Boundary Bay are a blessing to the Bellingham jazz community." ~ Matt Eakle, Flute

"If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music." - Albert Einstein
