Stage Time - by musicians for musicians

Stage Time Sponsors

Stage Time would not be possible without the help of our sponsors.

Stage Time can't do this all alone. Without the financial support and generous expertise of people who believe in our cause we couldn't do what we do.

As of June 3 we have raised and had support donations totaling $4000 - Thank you!

Dr. Joseph Garcia

We'd like to thank Dr. Joseph Garcia, the founder of using sign language with your baby (amongst other accomplishments) for his invaluable help in getting Stage Time started and mentoring us in the art of grant proposals. Without Dr. Garcia we'd still be on the drawing boards.

Boundary Bay Brewery

Boundary Bay Brewery is helping with one of our main goals: Putting together veteran musicians in a jam session environment so other musicians of any experience level get live performance experience in an exciting environment. They are giving us space on Sunday nights and a monthly donation to help us pay these high level musicians.

Andrew D. Thailer Trust

We would like to thank the Andrew D. Thaler Trust for their generous donation to help us with our goals to grow community through music and help pro musicians get paid what they deserve.

Diane Arvin

Diane is a long time supporter of Bellingham jazz and music in general. We'd like to thank Diane for helping us achieve our main goal of giving aspiring musicians stage time with veteran musicians.

Stage Time is a 501(c)(3) non profit dedicated to musicians in the Bellingham area.
Stage Time builds community through events designed to bring musicians and listeners together in a casual environment, supports aspiring musicians through mentorship and stage time opportunities, and helps the musician economy by advocating for and helping to provide fair wages for performances.
Stage Time Donations are Tax Deductible

Donations help us bring in top musicians for jam sessions and clinics and help us walk the walk when advocating for musician wages.

We will send a pdf receipt to your email.

What They Say About the Sunday Jazz Jam
"Fun to see and hear all the wonderful talent last night, Scot Ranney! There aren't many places where you can hear the veterans side by side with the new generation of players. I had that opportunity at the Moore Theatre last month, playing with David Grisman. The stage was packed with young and old and the love was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Thanks for creating a cultural breeding ground where people can see and experience cross generational creative fun in action! Your Sunday jams at Boundary Bay are a blessing to the Bellingham jazz community." ~ Matt Eakle, Flute

Bellingham Jazz Jam

Bellingham Jazz Jam Session

Join us for a Bellingham Jazz Jam on Sundays from 6-9pm at Boundary Bay Brewery. Boundary Bay is a great spot for listening as well as playing and has always done a lot to support things like this. The Scot Ranney and friends jam session originally ran from 2001 to 2006, and now we are here for the last year of this great establishment.

"If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music." - Albert Einstein
