Sunday Jazz Jam at The Hotel Leo

Every Sunday, 6–9pm · All ages · The Hotel Leo, Bellingham

Scot Ranney and Friends host an all-ages jam session every Sunday evening. A house band of veteran musicians holds down the stage, and players of every level are welcome to sit in, from middle schoolers and college students to working pros and retired players.

Between the Sunday evening crowd at The Hotel Leo and the unexpected musical moments that happen when generations play together, it's a party every time. Come to play or just come to listen.

Want to Sit In?

Bring your instrument and let the band know you'd like to play. If it's your first time, pick a standard you know well, and don't worry about being nervous. Everyone on that stage started somewhere.

Visiting Bellingham?

Make a weekend of it. Plenty of out-of-town guests plan their stay at The Hotel Leo around Sunday night jazz. Book a room, head down to the lounge for the jam, and enjoy one of the friendliest live music nights in the Pacific Northwest. Bring your instrument if you play.

We put aspiring musicians on stage with the best veteran players we can hire, so they learn the craft where it's really taught: in front of a live audience.

Join us Sundays from 6–9pm at The Hotel Leo for an all-ages jazz jam. A house band of veteran players holds down the stage, and musicians of every level are welcome to sit in. Students and young players are especially encouraged.
